Chelsie focuses her practice on small business formation, general counsel, real estate, and landlord/tenant law. Prior to practicing, Chelsie spent over a decade in government affairs as a lobbyist for a Berkshire Hathaway/Fortune 500 company.
Chelsie has provided general counsel and business formation services for medical, technical, and small business startups. She is the co-founder of her own real-estate startup and is familiar with the pitfalls that many small businesses owners face.
Chelsie graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Phi Kappa Phi with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism and a Second Major in Spanish Literature Phi Kappa Phi, both Cum Laude.
She graduated from the William S. Boyd School of Law where she was honored with the Dean's Award. Chelsie also has a Master of Arts in Justice Management from the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), and a Graduate Certificate in Renewable Energy from the School of Engineering, UNR.
Chelsie received the Young Philanthropist of the Year Award from United Way of Southern Nevada. Chelsie was also featured as a Woman of Distinction in Nevada, where she was selected from a group of notable, Nevada leaders. Recently, she was chosen to be part of the UNLV's Oral History project. Chelsie was interviewed, and her interview was transcribed into a book which will become part of the State's historical archive. She was awarded the Las Vegas Business Press Rising Star in Business award, and the Rising Star, Woman of Distinction Award by the Nevada Association of Women in Business.
Chelsie served as President of the William S. Boyd School of Law Alumni Board, Co-Chair of United Way of Southern Nevada's Young Philanthropist Society, and Nevada Chair of CPLC Nevada. She also served as a board of director for the Andson Foundation, and Kids Voting USA.
